Fifteen years ago, Cúrate opened its doors in downtown Asheville. Our mission was simple: to share the culture and hospitality of Spain while embracing Appalachian ingredients.
Co-founders Felix Meana and Chef Katie Button invite you to join them in celebrating this milestone and looking ahead to our next chapter of growth. Katie and Felix will guide you through a memorable prix fixe dinner led by Executive Chef Ángel Palacios, Wine Director Jessica Salyer, our Cúrate Bar de Tapas team, and special industry friends who have helped shape our story over the years.
An optional wine pairing will spotlight producers and winemakers who have been foundational to our list, developed in collaboration with our friend Lucas Payà, former head sommelier at elBulli and the José Andrés group, who will be pouring with us all night. The jamoneros from Cinco Jotas will also join us, slicing their prized Jamón Ibérico.
